Modernization of a Fish Processing Line — Republic of North Macedonia

Project Description

Modernization of a Fish Processing Line — Republic of North Macedonia

  • Category: Fish Processing, Technological Modernization and Innovation
  • Phase: Engineering
  • Client: ХХХ
  • Location: Republic of North Macedonia

The country’s first complete fish processing line with vacuum technology

The project focuses on the technological development of our client’s processing facility through the integration of a high-performance Gutmaster 750 fish cleaning machine with vacuum technology, supplied by the Danish manufacturer Kroma A/S — the first machine of its kind to be integrated into fish processing in the Republic of North Macedonia. Alongside the machine, additional equipment was supplied to automate the entire processing workflow, and the investment expands the facility’s production capacity while preparing raw material for the production of high-quality products that meet the growing demands of both domestic and international markets.

The vacuum technology of the Gutmaster 750 ensures precise and gentle handling of the fish before the subsequent processing stages, guaranteeing consistently high quality in the final product. Downstream of the machine, a sorting and packaging system was installed for boxing the finished product with ice — completing the setup as a full production line that increases productivity, reduces processing losses, and improves the utilization of raw material.

The modernization strengthens the client’s competitiveness, opening the way to higher value-added products and access to new markets, while the partnership with an established European supplier such as Kroma A/S guarantees the reliability of the technological solution and long-term technical support.

Through this project, the client reinforces its position as a modern enterprise in the fish processing sector, combining high technological standards with sustainable production development — and establishes itself as an innovator with the deployment of the country’s first complete fish processing line of its kind.
