The project in the land territory of the village of Starosel involves the design and construction of a modern Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) with a capacity of 150 tons of fish per year, operating in a fully closed cycle – from roe to fish ready for consumption. The farm has its own, fully autonomous water source, which isolates the system from external biological risks and climatic anomalies and ensures control over the quality and flow rate of the water. The technological zones include a specialized incubator for roe, protected pools for juvenile fish, and large-scale fattening sections, eliminating the need for external supplies of fingerlings and guaranteeing traceability and premium quality of the output.
The hydraulic and treatment system recirculates and regenerates up to 98% of the water volume through multi-stage filtration – mechanical drum filters, biofilters for nitrification, degassing, and final disinfection with ozone and UV rays. An intelligent SCADA system monitors oxygen, pH, and temperature in real time and manages automated feeding. To ensure energy independence and reduce operating costs, the farm is equipped with its own photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 600 kWp, covering peak daily loads and turning the farm into a low-carbon production facility.
The project’s scope covers pre-design studies, hydrogeological analyses, technological and energy design, construction of industrial halls, and equipment installation – a complete engineering product that demonstrates how modern aquaculture production can combine scale, profitability, and sustainability.
